Volunteer
Volunteering with Bikechain is a fabulous way to meet other cyclists, learn bike repair skills, and make an impact in your community.
Volunteers support shop visitors with repairs, maintain our lending bike fleet, refurbish or recycle donated bikes, lead group rides, and much more. No experience is required!
In exchange, volunteers receive discounts on new parts, access to cycling equipment, invitations to monthly events (including an annual bikepacking trip!), and more.
We host Volunteer Orientation on the first Wednesday of every month. If you’re interested in volunteering, drop by Orientation or send us an email at info@bikechain.ca.
Join Our Board
Bikechain’s Board of Directors is elected at our Annual General Meeting in November each year.
We’re looking for people who are passionate about cycling and mobility access, interested in non-profit organizations, and have ideas about how build a better Bikechain for everyone. Previous board experience is not required, and students are encouraged to run.

We accept resumes from experienced bike mechanics on an ongoing basis.
